What is Teide Cable Car?
Teleferico del Teide
The Teide Volcano cable car (Teleférico del Teide) is a modern cableway of Teide National Park. It takes visitors from an altitude of approximately 2,356 meters (7,730 feet) to 3,555 meters (11,663 feet), near the summit of Mount Teide, Spain's highest peak.
The journey lasts about 8 minutes and offers breathtaking views of the volcanic landscapes, a sea of clouds, and, on clear days, other Canary Islands.
The upper station, called "La Rambleta," provides access to several hiking trails, including one leading to the volcano’s summit (accessible only with a special permit).
The cable car is the most popular way to explore the beauty of Mount Teide.
