Canary Islands
Loro Park
Located in Puerto de la Cruz on the island of Tenerife, Loro Park is one of the most popular attractions in the Canary Islands.
Known for its impressive wildlife collection and conservation efforts, it is a must-visit destination for families, animal enthusiasts, and anyone seeking an immersive experience with nature.
The park opens as early as 9:30, and it’s a good time to start your tour.
Before the shows, you’ll have time to see the animals. During the day’s heat, they are more likely to retreat deeper into their enclosures, making them harder to spot. Additionally, in the morning, large crowds of tourists from the southern part of the island have not yet arrived. In the winter season, of course, there will be less daylight in the morning and possibly more clouds, which might disperse later in the day.
